Introduction
SAFe® unique Release Train Engineers (RTEs) are part of a leadership trio that includes a product manager and system architect. It plays a key role in guiding and delivering value for the Agile Release Train (ART). In short, the RTE must create the right environment, have the right conversations, facilitate the right meetings, and bring together the right people to make decisions based on the right data.
The SAFe RTE certification is a designation offered by Scaled Agile, Inc. to practitioners who complete a three-day SAFe RTE training by a SPC and demonstrate their understanding by passing the SAFe® Release Train Engineer certification exam. The SAFe® RTE course teaches you how to perform SAFe and continuously improve PI planning and other key SAFe events. Learn how to guide managers, teams, and Scrum Masters in new processes and mindsets. And get the guidance and tools you need to work effectively in a remote environment with distributed teams.
There are no prerequisites to attend the course A familiarity with Agile principles and practices is recommended A previous certification in a SAFe course will be an advantage Prior experience on a SAFe team will be an advantage
